She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Troutvetter (Twesten) and Arthur Troutvetter; her spouse R. Dean Starr; her sister Alice Jeanne Bolton; and her great grandchild Lincoln Hamby.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Starr (Patti) of Nauvoo, IL, Karen Taylor (Clark) of Missoula, MT and Maria Elam (Kevin) of Knoxville, TN.; and her grandchildren, Matthew Starr (Susan), Magen Eller (Jon), Kathleen Hamby (Keith), Nathan Taylor (Kasey), Jordan Taylor, Andrew Firkins (Nickie), Sarah Ducey (Austin), Patrick Elam (Megan), Kelsey Hoever (Charlie), Jonathan Elam (Anastasia), Jack Elam and Kristina Elam. She is also survived by Fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Golden's Point Christian Church (905 E Co Rd 1800, Hamilton, IL 62341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Golden's Point Church.
