She was predeceased by: her brother Hurley; her husband Duward Engstrom; her nephew Dennis Krumm; her son-in-law Dennis O'Brien; and her sister-in-law Doris Mathre.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Engstrom (Lana) of Story City and Cindy O'Brien of Ankeny; her stepson Jody "Jode" Dykstra (Denise); and her grandchildren, Jamie Jo Engstrom, Zachary Daniel Engstrom, Nikki Joye Ahern (Ryan) and Lexxi Marie O'Brien. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
