John Carl Hymes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Carl Hymes of Hamilton, Iowa, who passed away on October 9, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hymes and Joy Hymes (Rupp); and his siblings, Ella and Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Betty Agnew of Hamilton; his children, Carla Hymes of Hamilton and Brian Hymes (Stacy) of Montrose, Iowa; his grandchildren, Amanda, Deseree' (William), Alysha (Jacob), Brandon (Halee), Matthew (Haley) and Kristina; his great grandchildren, Camren, Ethan, Brooklyn, Oakley, Emmalyn, Adeline and Mason; and his siblings, Greg Hymes (Patty) of Warsaw, Russ Hymes of Donnellson and Francis Leffler of Carthage. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
