It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Elsworth Nichols Jr. of Hamilton, Iowa, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Nichols and Evelyn Nichols (Schoonhoven). He is survived by: his wife Kim Anderson; his children, Rosely Imler (Josh), Johnnie Nichols and David Nichols (Jenny Kirkpatrick); and his grandchildren, Samantha, Kacie, Logan Clark, Averie, Courtnie Imler and Kohlton Kirkpatrick. He is also survived by many cousins, good friends, and his rodeo family.
