She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smith and Lyndall Smith (Eddleman); her husband David Walter; her daughter Debra Williams; and her sister Evelyn Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Walter (Deb Hertzberg) of Hamilton, Kendra Walter (Larissa Harris) of Des Moines and Clint Walter (Rhonda) of Radcliff, KY; and her siblings, Lyndall Umble (David) of Attica, IA and Randy Smith (Su Li) of Florida.
The family requests that any memorial donations be directed to the Helping Hands in Knoxville, Iowa.
