It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Brackenbury of Hamilton, Iowa, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kruckow and Emily Kruckow (Allen); her husband Harry Paul Brackenbury, Sr.; and her sisters, Audrey and Janet.

She is survived by: her former husband Raymond Cady; her sons, Harry Paul Brackenbury, Jr. (Kathie) of Keokuk and Terry James Brackenbury (Deborah) of Hamilton; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Emma and Sophia Brackenbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Healing Streams Church in Keokuk.
