He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest R. "Punk" and Doris Iona McKim (Butterfield); and his brother Paul Allen McKim. He is survived by: his wife Virginia McKim of Hamburg, IA; his daughters, Nancy Lamkim (James) of Mt. Vernon, WA and Susan Buckendahl (Dale) of Alta, IA; and his grandchildren, Noah, Emma, Hanna, Elizabeth and Elaina.
