He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul L. Sloop and Lucinda E. Sloop (McNutt); and his brothers, Roland (Buddy), Keith and John Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Elizabeth Albee; his brother Larry F. Sloop of Hamburg; his children, Kevin Sloop of Hamburg and Robbi Travis (Joe) of Sidney; and his grandchildren, Courtney Sloop (Christopher Dos Santos) of Hamburg, Jeremy (Larissa) of Waterloo, NE, Justin (Rick Sheets) of Sidney, IA and Jeff Travis (Heather) of Norwalk, IA. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
