He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice W. Dalton and Beulah E. Dalton (Geyer); his son Brian; his former wife Mary Eleanor; his stepdaughter Angela Childers; and his brother Maurice Wayne Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Witter of Hamburg, IA; his children, Bradley Dalton (Jennifer) of Council Bluffs, IA and Victoria Loggins (Joel) of Murrayville, GA; and his stepdaughters, Terri Witter Oscar of Nebr and Ronda Witter of Nebr. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; other family and many friends.
Memorials may be given to the Phoenix House in Council Bluffs, IA or to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hamburg.
