He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Forest M. Owen and Grace F. Owen (Stephens); his wife Esther L. Lang; his children, Cathy Jean Lant (Ronald Miller) of Moville, IA, Elizabeth "Betsy" Ann Lilly (Troy) of Hamburg, IA and Richard Allen Owen of Hamburg, IA; his grandson Greg Lant (Patty) of Nebr; his siblings, Jane Lang of Riverton, Larry Owen (Linda) of Nebr, Harley, Forest, Donald (Marjorie) and J. D. (Cynthia); and his brothers-in-law, Merrill and Dickie Lang.
Memorials may be given to Hamburg Rescue.
