Madeline Gardner Obituary

Though Madeline may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Madeline touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey "Paul" Collins and Myrtle Emily Collins (Maness); and her siblings, Harvey Collins and Leola Jennings (Harold Gardner). She is survived by: her sons, Charles Gardner (Debbie) of Hamburg and Martin Gardner of Hamburg; her granddaughter Megan Benefiel (Zach) of Nebraska City; and her great grandchildren, Glen and Dean.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home (1220 Main St, Hamburg, IA 51640). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hamburg United Methodist Church (1200 Park St, Hamburg, IA 51640).
The family requests that memorials be given to Mt. Zion Cemetery and George C. Grape Community Hospital.
