With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Kirk (Hamburg, Iowa), born in Fairfax, Missouri, who passed away on January 5, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Kirk and Betty Kirk (Patton); his grandparents, Guy, Willie Kirk, Jesse and Rachael Patton; his brother Jimmie; and his great-nephew Bennett Kirk.
He is survived by: his cousin Roger Perry; his wife Joan Kirk (Miller); his daughter Wendi Stenzel of Shenandoah, IA; his grandsons, Matthew (Olivia), Jake and Nathan Stenzel; his stepdaughter Amy Farmer (Kyle) of Lee's Summit, MO; his grandsons, Marc, Cade Gustafson, Kary Jones (Greg) of Bennington, NE, Zack and Gage Koso; his siblings, Joe Kirk (Lana Brandt) of Hamburg, IA and Dink Hargrave (Gary) of St. Joseph, MO; his nephews, B. J. Kirk (Audra), Jeff Hargrave and Gabe Hargrave (Rachael); his niece Jeri Douglas (Robert); his great-nephews, Dylan Kirk and Zach Bean; his aunts, Elsie Foster and Rosie McConnell (Hooter); his uncle Ronnie Hart; and also Luke.
