He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Collins and Allie Collins (Gregg); his wife Shirley June Stephens; and his siblings, Raymond, Joe, Floyd, Betty Bruce and Mary Brown.
He is survived by: his sons, James "Ed" (Emilie) of Lincoln, NE, Michael (Margaret) of Burkburnett, TX and Stephen of Shenandoah, IA; his grandchildren, Heidi Musil (John) of Colorado, Tammy Kunz (Brian) of Colorado, Stephanie Shirley of North Carolina, Kathy Pounds of North Carolina, Jennifer Smith of North Carolina, Danielle Collins of Texas, Victoria Collins of Texas, Jonathon Collins of Texas and Joshua Collins (Mindy) of Colorado; his great grandchildren, Makayla of Colorado, Caden Kunz of Colorado, Lynneah Musil of Colorado, Maria, Mason Collins, Rosie Collins of Texas, Thomas Shirley of North Carolina and AJ Pounds of North Carolina; and his sister Irene McCall (Kenny) of Riverton, IA.
