With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Joseph Horejsi of Hamburg, Iowa, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert F. Horejsi and Rose C. Horejsi. He is survived by: his wife Donna Horejsi of Hamburg, IA; his children, Kristine Horejsi of Fort Collins, CO, Brad Horejsi of Nebraska City, NE, Ryan Horejsi of Loveland, CO and Jeff Horejsi (Allison) of Omaha, NE; his grandson Hudson; and his siblings, Lawrence Horejsi (Sharman) of Surprise, AZ and Thomas Horejsi (Kathy) of Lincoln, NE.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home (1220 Main St, Hamburg, IA 51640). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Hamburg Cemetery (1907 Monroe St, Hamburg, IA 51640).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given directly to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1306 Washington St, Hamburg, IA 51640, or the Hamburg Public Library, 1301 Main St., Hamburg, IA 51640.
