We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2020, at the age of 81, Robert Leo Pottebaum of Halbur, Iowa, born in Carroll, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pottebaum and Coletta Pottebaum; his parents-in-law, John and Rose Rotert; his siblings, Vern Pottebaum (Nora), Earl Pottebaum (Caroline), Don Pottebaum, Art Pottebaum and Rita Pottebaum; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry, Norbert (Alvina), Vern Rotert and Ron Soppe.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Jay Pottebaum, Adam Pottebaum, Cory Bruch, A. J. Pottebaum, Blake Pottebaum and Carter Bruch; his wife Rose Mary; his children, Dean Pottebaum (Jane) of Carroll, Steve Pottebaum (Leslie Mayo) of Ankeny, Dale Pottebaum (Brenda) of Carroll, Linda Bruch (Loren) of Halbur, Kent Pottebaum (Stephanie) of Moline, IL, Keith Pottebaum (Ann) of Carroll and Brian Pottebaum (Ashten) of Arcadia; his siblings, Ray Pottebaum (Agnes) of Anita, IA and Mary Lou Rotert of Omaha; and his parents-in-law, Dorothy Riesberg of Carroll, Leon Rotert (Monica) of Carroll, Ruth Kokenge (Alan) of Halbur, Theresa Soppe of Templeton, Elaine Pottebaum of Carroll and Lou Pottebaum of Carroll. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
