It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Wittrock of Halbur, Iowa, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wittrock and LaVerne Wittrock of Halbur, IA.; his daughter Jennifer Wittrock; his parents-in-law, Lynn and Elaine Hoffman; his brother-in-law Rudy Wolf; and his nephew Bart Wittrock.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Wittrock of Halbur; his children, Justin Wittrock (Andrew Bell) of Chicago, IL, Jessica Wittrock of Little Canada, MN and Nikki Klocke (Adam Klocke) of Halbur, IA.; his grandchildren, Emersyn, Ensley and Jace; his sibling Marv Wittrock (Barb) of Boone, IA.; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Hoffman (Marla) of Iowa City, Gail Potthoff (John) of Halbur, Keith Hoffman (Pam) of Waukee and Amy Sturm (Russ) of Avoca. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the St. Anthony Regional Hospital Cancer Center in Carroll.
