Linda Marie (Kress) Hertenstein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Marie (Kress) Hertenstein of Guttenberg, Iowa, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Kress and Laura Kress (Johnston); and her siblings, Carl Kress, Wayne Kress, Willie Kress (Susan), Carol Latson, Ed Kress, Jr. and Violet Jennings.
She is survived by: her children, James DeShaw of Cedar Rapids, Joshua DeShaw (Elaina) of Garnavillo, Robin Stock (Phillip) of Guttenberg, Laura Schlueter (Josh) of Dundee and Robert Hertenstein of Surprise, AZ; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Baker (Ryan), Anthony DeShaw, Sharlae DeShaw, Jesse DeShaw, Trey Lambert, Serena Sandoval, Anthony Sandoval, Juan Sandoval, Joshua Hertenstein, Charity Wojciechowski, Destiny Chaplin and Dillon Schlueter; her great grandchildren, Vincent Baker, Jaisen Baker, Jaxson Kellum and Maverick Kellum; her siblings, Don Kress, Bob Kress, Wanda Kress, Sue Kress, Rosaleta Heins (Lynn) and Kathy Wander (Kyle); her sisters-in-law, Rita Kress and Renee Kress; and her niece Lindsey Steward. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Linda's memory.
