He was predeceased by: his parents, Nickolas A. LeGrand and Lorene M. LeGrand; his grandson Tristan LeGrand; his son Thomas LeGrand; his wife Victoria A. Wachendorf; and his brother Robert "Buck" LeGrand.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin LeGrand (Yichen) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Steven LeGrand (Tricia) of Hazel Green, WI, Angie Killian (George) of McGregor, IA. and William LeGrand (Mindy) of Wilton, IA.; and his siblings, Marvin LeGrand, Ron LeGrand (Carol), Dorothy Kennicker (Roy) and Darlene Scudder (John). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
