We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2024, at the age of 87, Jean M. Morarend of Guttenberg, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Williams and Bertha Williams (Willie); her husband Leonard Morarend; and her siblings, Marvin Williams (Bernice), Ray Williams (Shirley), Ivan Williams, Julius Williams, LaVera Schenke (Bud), Irene Gleason (Glen) and Faye Wiskus.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Schaffer (Phillip), Joleen Beatty (Lonnie) and Allen Morarend (Osterdock); her grandchildren, Melody Voelker (David), Timothy Schaffer (Valerie), Dustin Schaffer (Michelle), Gregory Beatty (Stephanie) and Hunter Beatty; her great grandchildren, Logan, Katie, Derek, Mason Voelker, Josie Schaffer, Beau and Brigham Beatty; her sister Gerry Williams; her brothers-in-law, LaVern Wiskus and Bill Morarend; and her close friend Marge Taylor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
