She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Wessel and Elsie; her children, Dennis, Michael and Debra Rodenberg (Bruce); and her in-laws, Robert Aulwes (Lois), Betty Phelan (Tommy) and Kenny Aulwes (Kay).
She is survived by: her husband Harold Aulwes; her children, Marsha Dugan (Leroy), Steve Aulwes (Mary), Jim Aulwes, Sue Rademacher Jr. (Bill) and Billy Aulwes; her grandchildren, Jessica Harbaugh, Matthew Aulwes (Tara), Jacob Aulwes (Jenna), Samuel Aulwes, Michael Rademacher, Nicole Briggson (Daniel), Bruce Rodenberg Jr. (Amber) and Dillon Aulwes; her stepgranddaughter Marie Hepker (Hal); her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Josie, Jaxon, Adrianna, Deklyn, Charlee, Lennon, Colt and Kaisen; and her siblings, Janet Gross (Ron), Mary Kay Brinkman (Gale) and Dennis Wedeking (Jean Ann).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home - Guttenberg (207 S 1st St, Guttenberg, IA 52052). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mount Harmony Cemetery.
