He is survived by: his son Jacob Boardman; his stepchildren, Nikki Nuehring, Jason Steger, Erika Denver, Corey Schenke and Jason Schenke; and his siblings, Jolene Freeman, Mike Boardman, Wayne Boardman, Greg Boardman and John Boardman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
