He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Steensen and Marion Steensen; his son Ian Michael; his former wife Tiffany Sue (Baier); his wife Merle Anne; his son Ian Steensen (Tiffany); his granddaughter Bria Sue of Guthrie Center; his sister Susan Kiesau (Ken) of Neenah, WI; his brother-in-law Neil Merryman (Barb) of Urbandale, IA; his daughter Jennifer Sue; his parents-in-law, Howard Merryman and Betty Merryman; and his brother Sam Steensen. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church for the new parking lot.
