It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mildred P Kent (Guthrie Center, Iowa), who passed away at the age of 98, on February 24, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel and Mary Sloss, Sr. (Shroyer); her former husband John Brotherson; her spouse Ivyl Kent; her son Ron; her grandson Jim; and her siblings, Edna Rhodes, Gerald, Phil, Max, Richard, Sam Jr., Lulu Cline, Willard and Maxine Miller.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Carol) of Burlington, Doug (Teresa) of Guthrie Center and Dan (Cindy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Christian Church (105 N 4th St, Guthrie Center, IA 50115).
