He was predeceased by: his parents, Ozzie Durst and Elvina Durst (Kopaska); his siblings, Donald Durst and Iva Rutherford; and his nephew Ronald Durst.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Patterson; his sons, Ronald, Tony Durst (Leandra) of Guthrie Center and Alex Durst (Kim) of Guthrie Center; and his granddaughters, Nicole (Daniel Bean), Kristina (Jesse Swensen) and Karley (Cody Janousek).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Guthrie Center.
