It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loren James Cabelka (Guthrie Center, Iowa), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cabelka and Neva Cabelka (Manor); his wife Afton Hunt; and his son-in-law Ray Foreman. He is survived by: his children, Debra Cabelka of Des Moines, Brent Cabelka (Kathy) of Yale and Shelley Cabelka; and his grandchildren, Eric Morris (Jenna), Craig Morris (Kathy) and Chase Hunter. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Kindred Hospice.
