She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Bailey and Nina Bailey; her husband Wilson Mikkelsen; her son Timothy Bruce; her sisters, Maxine Bailey, Irene Slater (Bailey) and Pauline McGlothlen (Bailey); her parents-in-law, Mike and Katie Mikkelsen; her siblings-in-law, Alvin Mikkelsen, Mildred Swanson and Ramona King; and her nieces and nephews, Sandy Wilkinson, Ginger Sommer, Murray McGlothlen and Jerry Slater.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Ann, Cindy McCarty of Panora, Nancy Kite (Jim) of Auburn, NE and Paul Mikkelsen (Lynelle) of Adel; her grandchildren, Emi Swope (Steve) of Adel, Jess McCarty (Kylie) of Adel, Kaleb McCarty (Remember) of Sarasota, FL, Cassia Jagear (Tim) of Sarasota, FL, Jake Kite (Cheris) of Omaha, NE, Bailey Mikkelsen of Destin, FL, Maddie Mikkelsen, Lauren Mikkelsen and Claíre Mikkelsen; her great grandchildren, Aubrey McCarty of Tampa, FL, Bennett, Presley, Beckett Swope, Kennedy, Kendrick, Karter McCarty, Kelbee Kite, Jett and Nina Jaeger; her niece Judy Lyall (Jeff); and her nephews, Ken Slater (Diane) and Keith McGlothlen. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
