With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John LeRoy Weis of Guthrie Center, Iowa, who passed away on October 30, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jacob and Alma Weis (Lovin); his son Brad Weis; and his siblings, Don and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Weis; his daughters, Brenda Broyer of Grimes and Kim Pruitt of Stewart; his stepchildren, Judy Dittrick (Gary) of Manchester, Julie Steinbron (Dave) of Jesup, Kenny Lewis (Jill) of Manchester, Brenda Lewis-Morehouse (Mark) of Evansdale, Lynn Lewis (Kim) of Quasquetion and Jim Lewis (Toni) of Manchester; his sister Lena Buttler of St. Frances; and his sister-in-law Jan Weis of Goodland. He is also survived by 19 step-grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
