He was predeceased by: his parents, John Krakau and Clara Krakau (Alff); and his siblings, Orville Krakau and Gerry Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Krakau; his children, Merv Krakau (Barb), Teresa Kent (Doug), Tamela Booth (Jeff), Bill Krakau (Mary) of Roland, IA and Tonya Messner (Brad) of Springfield, MO; his siblings, Larry Krakau (Mary) of Clive and Kathie Hrubsky of Omaha; and his brother-in-law Jack Large of Des Moines. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
