It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Herbert Burr of Guthrie Center, Iowa, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Burr and Minnie Burr (Hall); his wife Margery Jane Spencer; and his son Monte. He is survived by: his siblings, Clifford Burr (Bus), Dale Burr (Jimmy), Harold Burr (Bud), Mae Van Sickler and Pearl Samuels; his siblings-in-law, Betty Burr, Dee Burr, Peg Burr, Bob Van Sickler and Fawn Samuels; his son Rick (Kathy); his grandchildren, Christopher Burr (Allison) and Brandi Sargent (Derek); his great grandchildren, Colton Sargent (Kait), Josie Sargent, Noah Sargent, Madeleine Burr, Sophia Burr, William Burr and Annaliese Burr; his great great grandchild Slater Sargent; and his niece Lodema Pryor Myers. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
