With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Franklin Peterson of Guthrie Center, Iowa, born in Gilman, Iowa, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peterson and Marie Peterson (Campbell); his brother Bob; his sister-in-law Joanna Peterson; his sister Carol Sandberg; and his brother-in-law Bob Postal.
He is survived by: his wife Belva "Bi" Colbert; his sons, Brad Peterson and Mike Peterson (Terri); his grandchildren, Brandon Peterson (Becky) of Guthrie Center and Bailey Peterson (Ryan Ecklund) of Guthrie Center; his great grandchildren, Piper, Kyla, Lucy, Otto and Jett; and his siblings, Roger Peterson (Dorothy) of Grinnell and Marilyn Postal of Fallbrook, CA. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
