He is survived by: his wife Janet Nickel; his children, Matt Clark (Angie) of Glidden, Iowa, Jennifer Helle (Scott) of Rockwell City, IA, Scott Clark (Linda) of Early, Iowa, Chadd Clark (Kirstin) of Park Rapids, MN and Cassandra Fronapfel (Matthew) of Guthrie Center, IA; and his stepchildren, Alicia Ciesielski (Richard) of Guthrie Center and Curtis Nickel of Thailand.
