He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Schreck and Emma Schreck (Loxterkamp); his son John Schreck; his grandson Chase Dickey; his brother Jerome Schreck; his brother-in-law Louie Osterlund; and his nephew Dan Schreck.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Schreck (Holly) of Clive, Kevin Schreck (Marci) of Guthrie Center and Sheila Dickey (Clint) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Kolton Schreck of Guthrie Center, Kacie Wolinski (Blake) of Panora, Kurtis Schreck of Somerset, KY, Katie Schreck of Ames, Kari Schreck of Iowa City, Zachary Schreck of Guthrie Center, Sydnie Mahoney of Cedar Falls, Caleb Dickey of Cedar Falls, Caylee Dickey of Cedar Falls and Cody Dickey of Cedar Falls; his sister Pat Osterlund of Vail, IA; and his sister-in-law Mary Railsback of Guthrie Center. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
