He is survived by: his wife Linda Olson; his children, Laurie Vollertsen, Lyn Nicks, Lisa Callahan (Greg) and David M. Olson Jr.; his stepdaughter Michelle Schmith (Brian); and his siblings, Danny Olson (Doris) of Leon and Dee Christensen of Missouri Valley, Iowa.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
