It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Mae Johnson of Guthrie Center, Iowa, born in Centerville, Iowa, who passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Leroy and Erma Irene LaFollette (Barrell); her husband Billy Hugh; and her children, Joy Lou and Mark Eugene.
She is survived by: her grandson Markus; her great grandchildren, Caydence and Brayden; and her nieces, Barb Hitt and Sue McNutly. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Betty asks for donations be given to Our Lady Of Grace church for a stain glass window.
