With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola M. Vasey (Grundy Center, Iowa), born in Lincoln, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 107. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Claude E. Vasey; her parents, William Bern and Ella Bern; her siblings, Elmer Bern (Orleen), Marvin Bern (Evelyn), Leslie Bern (Emma) and Arlene Bern; and her nephew Gary Bern.

She is survived by: her nieces, Carolyn Riley (Gerald), Judith Widmayer (Darryl), Marlis Helland (Larry) and Bonnie Murty (Bob).

Memorials may be made in Viola's name to the Youth Scholarship Fund at the Colfax Center Presbyterian Church.
