Verone S. Nederhoff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verone S. Nederhoff of Grundy Center, Iowa, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Menno Venenga and Anna Venenga (Meyer); her parents-in-law, Odie and Eita Nederhoff (Bunger); her brothers, Delmar Venenga (Donna) and Wendall Venenga (Jean); and her siblings-in-law, Hank Nederhoff (Lorraine), George Nederhoff (Donna), Art Nederhoff (Bev) and Pearl VanSoelen (Paul).
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Nederhoff; her children, Rhonda Deters (Terry), Randy Nederhoff (Colette) and Deb Meints (Brad); her grandchildren, Bill Deters (Cari Ross), Ben Deters (Abbye), Jocelyn Schlenker (Christian), Ross Nederhoff and Jensen Nederhoff; her great grandchildren, Vivian, Eleanor, Isla Deters, Elliette, Jonas and Callahan Schlenker; and her siblings, Ron Venenga, Norman Venenga (Katie) and LaVonne Casey (Vic). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abels Funeral and Cremation Service - Grundy Center (509 4th St, Grundy Center, IA 50638). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Colfax Center Presbyterian Church (18935 K Ave, Holland, IA 50642).
