He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Susan Schmidt of Grundy Center and Scott Schmidt (Mindy) of Grundy Center; his grandchildren, Hazel, Jeffery (Kristin), Austyn, Baylee, Jessa and Bubba; and his siblings, Marge Diamond (Dave) of Whitten, Steve Schmidt (Deb Mettlin) of Marshalltown and Bill Schmidt (Beth) of Marshalltown.
