She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Riebkes and Nancy Janssen Riebkes; her husband Marvin Janssen; and her sisters, Angeline and Kathleen.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Janssen of Cedar Falls, Sharon Werkman (Dean) of Waverly and Lisa Bakker (Ryan) of Steamboat Rock; her grandchildren, Clayton Werkman (Libbey) of Ankeny, Collin Werkman of Hiawatha, Trevor Bakker of Steamboat Rock, Haley Bakker of Steamboat Rock and Morgan Bakker of Steamboat Rock; her great grandchildren, Xander and Hudson Werkman; and her sister Judy Launderville (Paul) of Denison. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be directed in Ruth's name to her family which will be later designated elsewhere.
