It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Winkelpleck of Grundy Center, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Vehrs and Verna Vehrs; her husband John Winkelpleck; and her sisters, Verna Stracke and Jan Miskimins.
She is survived by: her children, James Winkelpleck (Melanie), Wendy Monaghan (Jason), Angie Darge (Scott) and Cory Winkelpleck (Stephanie); and her grandchildren, Brandon, Ben, Brooke, Alicia, Cody, Chelsea, Shirley Paige, William, David and Neva. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
