We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, at the age of 82, Merle Dean Lynch of Grundy Center, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Lynch and Margaret Lynch; his stepfather Dale Clapsaddle; his brother-in-law Richard Larsen; and his nephew Randy Larsen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary DeWolf of Reinbeck, IA.; his children, Michel Lynch (Kirsten) of Golden Valley, MN and Melanie Loecke (Todd) of Urbandale, IA; his grandchildren, Kieran Lynch, Ethan Lynch, Morgan Loecke, Travis Loecke and Tyler Loecke; his brothers, James and Darwin Lynch (Kris) of Grundy Center, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Larsen of Urbandale, IA and Doris Hite (David) of Reinbeck, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice in Merle's honor.
