It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis Ehmen of Grundy Center, Iowa, born in Reinbeck, Iowa, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nehring and Roxie Nehring (Vinton); and her sister Phyllis Nehring. She is survived by: her husband Curly Ehmen of Grundy Center; her children, Stephanie Harders (Craig) of Gladbrook, Danny Ehmen (Marva) of Peyton, Lori Coens (Bill) of Overland Park and Joey Ehmen (Gina) of Granger, Iowa; her grandchildren, Brandon Harders, Jaime Schmidt (Scott), Jennifer Schmitz (Dave), Dustin Ehmen, Michael Ehmen, Hayden Coens and Dylan Coens; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Wilken, Bennett and Theo.
