She was predeceased by: her father Marion Linman; and her brother Steve Linman. She is survived by: her mother LaDonna Linman (Druivenga); her husband Joel Patterson; her daughters, Shani Patterson (Buck Ringgold) and Amber Hoy (Dave); her grandsons, Adam, Cooper and Jacob Hoy; and her sister Pat Wiebers (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
