Marlene Havel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2021, at the age of 87, Marlene Havel of Grundy Center, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Homer and Cecille Logan Mayer (Hotle); her husband Kenneth A. Havel; her children, Julie Baltes (Ray) of Hampton, IA, Scott Havel (Julie) of Urbandale and Doug Havel (Anne) of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Briana Havel, Jacob Havel, Sarah Havel, Jessica Anderson (Duncan) and Tommy Baltes.
It will be asked that all in attendance wear masks and abide by social distancing measures.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Maroon and White Committee INC. in Grundy Center, memorials may be dropped at the Treasure's office in city hall in Grundy Center, or mailed.
