He was predeceased by: his parents, Russ Phelps and Ila Phelps (Towers) of Bondurant, Iowa.; and his wife JoAnn (Reynolds) of Polk City, Iowa.. He is survived by: his children, Terri Severance (Jim) and Randy Phelps (Lisa Hartke); his grandchildren, Jason Severance and Allyse Phelps (Mark Jesse); and his great grandchild Laken Severance.
