She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schulz and Selma Schulz; her husband Alvin F. Hamilton; and her siblings, Gladys Lear (Wayne) and Leonard Schulz (Joan).
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Hamer (Mark) of Coralville, Denise Schryver (Mark) of Longmont and Steve Hamilton (Lori Sanderson) of Gladbrook, Iowa.; and her grandchildren, Todd Hamer, Matt Hamer, Sara McElroy (Paul) and Jay (Susan).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Abels Funeral and Cremation Service - Grundy Center (509 4th St, Grundy Center, IA 50638). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
