He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Dole and Susie Dole (Reed); and his siblings, Fred, Richard, Bill, Lee, Glen, Larry, Helen, Ruth and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his son Joe; his wife Jean Weltha of Grundy Center; his children, Lisa Dole of Iowa City, Joseph Dole (Sondra) of Groveland, IL, Jeff Dole (Shannon) of Grundy Center and Kerri Barnhouse (JB) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Zachary Dole, Blake Dole (Ellie), Wesley Dole, Brianna Hall (John), John Schwind (Meghan), Isabella, Delaney Dole, Jane and Charles Barnhouse; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Oliver, Briggs, Theodore, Jocelyn, Rylie and Genevieve; and his sister Patricia Lofquist of Illinois. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to family, which they are using to establish a scholarship in Harry's memory.
