It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Nelson Pierce of Grundy Center, Iowa, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Norbert Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Virgina Pierce; his children, David Pierce (Lisa), Thomas Pierce (Diane), Jennifer Van Devooren (Wade) and Elizabeth Pierce (Gary Fairbanks); and his brothers, Ron and Darwin Pierce. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
