She was predeceased by: her parents, Orren Douglas and Abena Arika Jackson (Gronewald); her husband Vernon Mackie; and her siblings, James, Harry, Lawrence, Donald, Glen, Bill, Leroy, EllaMae, MaryAnn and Daisy.
She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Kiewiet (Velvet), Steven Kiewiet (Melanie) and Gary Kiewiet (Amber); her stepchildren, Curt Mackie (Deb), Jay Mackie (Kathy), Karla Joerger (John) and Chad Mackie (Rachel); her siblings, Lillie, Eldon, Douglas and Richard; and her close friend Al Morrow. She is also survived by her 5 children; 4 step-children; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
