He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Seifert and Helen Seifert (Kosak); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Carey, Cindy Eggert and Susan Hadden.
He is survived by: his child Chris Black (Shanel) of Ogden; his wife Debbie Johnson; his children, Sarah Seifert of Roy, Jennifer Mertz (Paul) of Red Oak, Ryan Johnson (Mia) of Griswold and Marcus Johnson-Miller (Jeremy) of Des Moines; his siblings, Ed (Jean) and Linda Carey; his cousin Skip Laskowsky; and his pets, Skippy, Manny, Nugget, Missy and Honey. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
