He was predeceased by: his parents, Edris Darlene (Simm) and Robert Allen Zimmerman. He is survived by: his son Brandon Buffington (Denae) of Lewis, IA; his grandchildren, Blaine, Adalyn and Cassidy; his siblings, Jo Peters (Larry) of Council Bluffs, IA, Becky Wetenkamp of Plattsmouth, NE and Tim Zimmerman of Council Bluffs, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Abby Conrad (Derek), Ashley Elgan (Cody), Mary Anderson, Jon Kossow (Courtney) and Marty Wetenkamp (Mandi). He is also survived by 14 great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
A prayer was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Carson Community Building (316 S Commercial St, Carson, IA 51525). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
